Summer Picnic
We had a great picnic event this past 06 June 2026 at Nottoway Park in Vienna, VA. For the past few summers we have held a summertime picnic to foster school spirit and reconnect with former classmates from the 1971 graduating class. We hope to continue this tradition in the coming years!
Meet & Greet
Attend a Casual Night on the Friday (25 September), the evening before our main Reunion event. The low keyed informal "get together" is designed to help alumni reconnect while enjoying an extra evening of fun. We are currently planning on having the casual event at the Archer Hotel as well. Additional details to come.
55th Reunion Fall 2026
Join us for our upcoming 55th Reunion this fall on Saturday, 26 September 2026, for a weekend of celebration and a time to reconnect and reminisce. We'll have a Meet & Greet night on the Friday night before the Main Reunion Event. Both Event venues will be at the Archer Hotel in Merrifield, VA. in the heart of the Mosaic District.
Please join us as this may be the last Reunion Event we have as the Class of '71. As our attendance numbers have declined over the years, securing an Event Venue has become more costly. Our future formal events will likely be joint events with adjacent GCM Classes. Not a bad thing at all, but different!

Want to win a "free" ticket for our 55th reunion? Purchase your early bird ticket before July 31st and your name will be put in a drawing that will take place during the Saturday night event. All early bird ticket purchasers are eligible for the drawing, excluding committee members. One name will be drawn and the winner will receive a refund for the NET ticket cost of $135.50. While only one can win, the non-winners will be rewarded with an enjoyable evening.
The Day After Brunch
For those that are still wanting to spend time with fellow GCM Alumni, we invite you to attend an informal gathering as we wind down our special weekend the morning after the 55th Reunion Event. Time and location TBD.
